Policy Development
Policies and procedures are the logical starting point for an effective security program. We can assist you in developing individual security policies or a complete security manual. These policies can address active shooter, hostages, access control, visitor management, etc.
Security Force Optimization
There are no standards in the security industry for determining the number of Security Officers needed to protect assets; however, there are different methodsfor assessing whether Security Officers are needed and if so, how many Officers are needed. Determining the right number of Security Officers is typically based on a combination of various factors (for example, functions, risks, industry norms, etc.).
For an example of our research into security staffing in the healthcare environment, please see Staffing Benchmarks: How Many Security Officers are Enough? [https://www.threatanalysis.com/JHPMStaffingBenchmarks.pdf]
Quality Control
Threat Analysis Group, LLC provides independent inspections of contract security services (guard services). We provide objective assessment of protection forces, contract compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement. Quality Control is required on some contracts (e.g. Federal Protective Service) and should be considered an essential part of an overall security program.
